Full Sail has a great production program, however one thing that is crucial to understand before attending any music school, is to know that you can only get out of it what you put into it.

What I mean by that is, don’t go to music school thinking you will have a job or full career just waiting for you afterwards. Most people who go to music school never end up working professionally in music because that’s the mentality they have.

If you make the decision to take the leap, make sure you remind yourself, every second, that you are paying to be there. You want to gather as much information as humanly possibly. Don’t attend classes as a “regular student”, sitting & waiting to be told something - attend classes as someone who’s getting really expensive insight into something you need to know.

If you can go to music school with that mentality and understanding, then it might be worth it.
